Using the Website
The checklist saves only which boxes you have checked in your browser’s local storage. It does not save names, estate information, or financial details. Reset the checklist or clear your browser’s site data to remove that progress.
Guide searches and topic filters run in your browser. We do not receive the words you search. Fonts and images are served with the website, and this version does not use advertising or analytics trackers. A hosting provider may process standard connection and security logs when serving a page.
Contacting Heirwell
The email helper opens a draft in your own email application. Heirwell receives the message only if you send it. Do not include Social Security numbers, account numbers, or sensitive family records in a first message.
Information you send is used to respond to your inquiry or discuss requested research. We do not sell it. Ask us about correcting or deleting your inquiry information; we will explain if any records must be retained for legal or business obligations.
Official Search Links
Searches on state and other external websites are handled by those organizations under their privacy policies. Heirwell does not receive the names, documents, or results you enter on those sites.
Research Records
Private heir addresses and contact details are kept separate from the public website and any sample report. If you order research, the agreement will explain how records are collected, delivered, and retained.
